History

Rexford Heathcote is the only child of Barbary Heathcote, guitarist of the Weird Sisters, and Selene Flynn, a witch model ten years his father's junior. Selene and Barbary had a high profile, public relationship. They started dating when she was just seventeen, and he was twenty-seven, which was almost taboo because she had JUST turned of age when their relationship went public. The two dated for several years before getting married. Barbary was always at all of Selene's photoshoots, and Selene was at every Weird Sisters concert. When Selene was 21 and Barbary was 31, Selene discovered that she was pregnant. Surprisingly, after she gave birth to her son, Rexford, her modeling career was still fairly successful, and to date, she's still one of the most prolific models in the wizarding world. The two are still together, rare for the music world.

Though the Weird Sisters retired from playing when Rexford was a young boy, his family still lived the rock star lifestyle. He was spoilt beyond belief, and anything the child desired was bought for him. Rex inherited his mother's ravishing good looks and his father's boyish charm and way with women.

The Heathcotes traveled the world, trying to take Rex to see as much of the world as possible before he began school at Hogwarts. While on the road, the boy was home schooled.

As a child, Selene forced Rex to pose for some modeling shoots for children's clothing and any other sort of advertisement that required a small, good looking boy. Rex does not like to talk about the few years that he was forced into being a child model, though he doesn't mind the royalties he still gets for use of his image as a toddler on a brand of sunblock potions.

When Rex arrived at Hogwarts, he was sorted into his mother's former house, Slytherin (his father had been a Ravenclaw). He easily made friends, and quickly found himself one of the most popular boys in his year.

Since his father is one of the wizarding world's foremost musicians, Rex has been a musician his entire life. Though he can play the piano and the guitar, his favorite possession is his drumset, which his father bribed the school into letting him bring to Hogwarts. He's an excellent drummer, and is looking for a band to play with.

Personality

On the outset, Rex is very shallow. The only things in life that matter to him are girls, sex, money, and looks. With his good looks and easy-going personality, Rex was very popular with the ladies. He had his first kiss at the age of 12, and lost his virginity as a 4th year (to a 6th year, mind you!) He's not really one for girlfriends, but he enjoys sleeping around and fooling around with as many girls as possible.

While he's not the smarted kid at the school, he's certainly not stupid. Rex is not entirely sure what he'd like to do when he graduates. Hopefully, he can go into music like his father, but if not, he can always work at his father's record label, so he doesnt' really try very hard in school.

This year, Rex has decided to try and hook up with as many girls as possible, as many times as possible. It's his seventh year, and he's going to go out with a bang. He's created a points system whereby he rates every girl he hooks up with, and based on what he did with the girl, he earns a certain amount of points. He's trying to see how many points he can accumulate by the end of the year. Yes, he is a true slimeball.
